Summer 1
We have lots to look forward to this half term! Here are some highlights of our curriculum this half term:
- English: We are reading Mr Wolf's Pancakes and will be writing a recipe all about how to make the perfect pancakes! We will also be exploring the poem 'Hurt No Living Thing' and creating our own poem based of it.
- Maths: We are looking at teen numbers and finding ways to add and subtract within our teen numbers. We will be looking at a range of different strategies to help make our addition and subtraction easier and speedier!
- Science: Our science is about the different seasons, with a focus on Autumn and Winter. We will be looking at the different ways to recognise when there has been a change in season.
- Geography: Our Geography topic is all about our environment and how to keep our planet safe. We will be looking at different ways we can help our planet, such as through recycling, using less water and turning the lights off.
- DT: Structures - the different types and how to create a steady structure.
- Spanish: Los Superheroes.
