Summer 2026
Welcome back everyone! We are now beginning with our new mini topics 'Under the Sea' and 'Journeys' for the Summer term.
We will be starting to learn about Sea creatures by reading facts and sharing lots of information books and photos. We will enjoy practising our creative skills by engaging in sea themed art work, and story telling. We will also learn some new songs about the Sea and Pirates. We will have fun making model boats and testing them out together.
In Maths we will continue to practise building numbers to 10 and learning to use a 10s frame to help us to solve number problems. We will also begin to use 'doubles' and to recognise patterns within numbers and sequences.
